PRINCE of WALES

Immigration list 1813

The Prince of Wales left June 28 1813 from Stromness,Orkney,
Scotland.They arrived two months later at York factory on 
the western shore of the Hudson Bay. Also known as the 
Churhill party ,some of whom walked on snow-shoes to York Factory
in April 14th,1814.After a few years of devistation many left
Canada going to the Iowa/Ill/Neb areas and areas not mentioned.
Names and places are some times mis-spelled due to how old the 
books where when copied.As a treat I have also made pages with
six other lists pertaining to this migration to Canada.They must
have been a very brave peaple to whom I'm honored to a desendant.
